In 4 months they have not been able to correctly produce custom ortho insoles for my shoes even after a few tries. ... They keep creating a bullet-shaped inserts even though they have cast my feet, traced my feet, and traced the insoles of my topo sneakers. Notice in the photo how my toes hang over the insoles that they made.No amount of calling, emailing and can get any of the staff to coordinate and answer even after 4 months.The insole are made of such smelly toxic materials and adhesive that I couldn't even open the package. I had to throw it outside.On both visits the office was filthy and unsanitary, covered in dust, patient and waiting rooms weren't clean. And I mentioned this during the first visit but nothing improved. Dirty paper used by patients left on the table, hair, body fluid stains, and debris all over the pillows, equipment, and floor. Dirty dusty old fabric covered broken down chairs. Front steps and entry covered in dirty toilet paper, kleenex, gum, hair balls, garbage, and debris. Garbage isn't taken out in the bathrooms or patient rooms. Dirty bathroom, no paper. Just gross.I've seen cleaner mechanics garages and gas stations.Don't bother with Active Life at any lab. Same exact problems.read more

Let it be known that this place only has practitioners that received certificate training, they do not have any... licensed doctors on staff that evaluate and diagnose feet issues and they messed up making sure that my daughter has the correct inserts for her severe feet condition. Instead of telling me they no longer carried severe-case inserts, they billed my insurance for a pair that were not as good and did not care about how that would affect my daughter, to tell me in advance and avoid having my insurance billed.The staff is friendly, but the exam rooms are dirty and the bathroom is filthy, like a ghetto gas station bathroom.I was never informed that this place has no real doctors here. If you or your child has foot issues, I recommend seeking a place that has a real dr(s) on staff that is capable and licensed to properly evaluate and ensure you or your child are getting proper care and diagnosis. I am appalled and feel taken advantage of by Beverly Orthopedics.read more

Rude staff. Came in for a knee brace and the person I saw (Dan) said "you're going to need this, you'll be in bed for 6... weeks." Don't know why they would say this when they have no knowledge of my diagnosis or treatment. (My surgeon has explained I need to be up and moving from day one post-surgery) Also refused to give me the knee brace I requested which is better for warmer weather, simply because they couldn't be bothered to adjust the fit.read more

On my initial visit for orthopedic insoles I was completely ignored upon entrance. I had a prescription from my... podiatrist to go here to get custom insoles, in knowing that I have PPO insurance. Before my appointment they wanted me to pay $250 out of pocket because I didn't have Medicare. I mentioned that I had PPO and they agreed to let me finish the insole procedure as they were going to call my insurance for approval - PPO would cover my cost for insoles. 7 weeks later and they still refuse to call my insurance for approval. And I wouldn't have known without calling them asking if my insoles were ready. Not only were they not ready, but they never even called my insurance to go through with the insole process! It looks as if they purposely did not follow through with this request. My podiatrist was sincerely sorry for referring me to this place and has now referred me to another place. I would think twice about going here. Not only is it a waste of time but it seems like they'd prefer to take your money and have you eat the cost than follow through with a simple call to your insurance. Extremely, extremely dishonest business.read more

I been coming to this office for a while now and let me tell you guys something. The staff here are freaking amazing.... They are getting better and better as time passes. I went today to pickup my orthopedic shoes and insoles and they made me cry not because I was mad but because how good they made me feel in my new shoes. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!!read more

We were extremely pleased with this company. Dan and Sanjay fitted my son with a Sarmiento brace when he broke his... right humerus. My son has a disability, and the two men treated him respectfully and expertly in a very short period of time. My son's fall happened a few days before Christmas, and the office worked my son into its already full schedule within a few hours after we called and had the brace in stock, something we didn't expect! We were so grateful.read more
